Being a professional basketball player—especially in the NBA—demands more than just skill. Fortunately, Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has everything it takes to be among the league’s elite. But in a recent candid admission, Booker revealed a harsh truth about life in the NBA, hinting that he may be rethinking his place in the league.
Booker currently plays for the Phoenix Suns and has a wealthy contract, excluding all of his brand endorsements. But despite all of this, Booker appears to have discovered a higher-paying alternative. The 28-year-old made a daring declaration during a recent live-streaming session. He brought up the fact that podcasters and streamers make a lot more money than NBA players.
Booker feels that the streaming sector is more profitable than the NBA after comparing the two. He also stated that he hopes to occasionally explore the streaming market in the future.
Hell no, there’s more money in this s**t, bro. I should be doing what y’all doing.

The Phoenix Suns are trying to assemble their team for the upcoming season. Remarkably, there has been a buzz going around lately about a possible Devin Booker deal. However, it looks highly unlikely of a scenario at this stage. Mostly because the likes of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal (other Suns stars) will be traded first before any deal for Booker would be taken into consideration.

So, with Durant and Beal getting traded first, the Suns will mostly look to build around their young superstar in Devin Booker. However, anything can happen after witnessing the Luka Doncic trade deal back in February.
ESPN insider reveals interesting Devin Booker trade rumor
Right now, there are NBA trade rumors everywhere. To the dismay of their supporters, the Phoenix Suns were unable to secure a postseason berth in the current season. A possible trade proposal for Booker has surfaced as the Suns seek to restructure their roster. The Dallas Mavericks may be interested in Booker, according to ESPN’s Andre Snellings.
They won’t have to wait to develop Cooper Flagg in this manner. Alternatively, they may immediately pair Booker with Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving. For context, the Mavs got the first lottery draft pick, meaning that they will surely go for the Duke Blue Devils star, Flagg. So, the Mavs going for Booker in the market does seem a bit odd; however, it was an interesting trade proposal made by the ESPN reporter.

Flagg led his squad with an average score of 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game, claiming strong hold on possible spot as the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. With the Mavs on him, it is highly unlikely that they would go for someone like Booker in the market.
Devin Booker once opened up on his ‘workout’ at the Heat
During his appearance on The Backyard Podcast with D’Angelo Russell this week, Devin Booker commented on his 2015 pre-draft process that has fans wondering if he’s interested in moving to South Beach, the Miami Heat. Booker claimed that he had the ‘best workout’ with the Heat and was taken away by their president, Pat Riley, on the podcast.

Miami was my best workout, and then I remember Pat Riley did an interview and he was like, ‘We’re looking for a Klay Thompson-type player, we need to up our shooting.’ I just shot 40 [percent from 3] in college, I’m like, ‘Oh yeah.’ I’m looking at spots right down there by the arena.

Eventually, Riley did not choose his fellow Wildcat, who, like Booker played for Kentucky during his college career. With the tenth overall choice, he instead selected Duke forward Justise Winslow, a decision that didn’t prove well. If it was the other way round, the Heat would have gotten a superstar in Booker at that time.
