Devin Haney gets WARNING from Eddie Hearn to ‘never disrespect again’ after ticket incident at Wembley stadium

The grand Wembley Stadium hosted the highly anticipated “Battle of Britain“ fight night between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois. Amidst that intriguing matchup, there was another confrontation in the stadium. It was between former associates Matchroom Promotions head honcho Eddie Hearn and boxing star Devin Haney.
Eddie Hearn was upset with Devin Haney for expressing his grievances on X. Haney seemingly lashed out at Hearn for not receiving ringside tickets for the Joshua vs. Dubois fight. However, the 25-year-old managed to enter the arena later and even discussed with the Matchroom boss following that. In an interview session with Boxing News, Hearn recently addressed the fiasco and slammed Haney.

Per the Matchrom boss, Haney could have avoided creating a mess on socials by simply messaging him about the tickets. Not only that, but Hearn also revealed that he asked Haney to ask Riyadh Season for tickets as it’s their event.
Soon after, Hearn was seemingly disappointed with the way the 25-year-old made chaos out of it. Moreover, Hearn also mentioned that he is not obliged to fulfill the 25-year-old’s wish as they don’t work together now. Their contract ended after the boxing bout in April.
Eddie Hearn signed Haney when he was just 20 years old in 2019. Together, they won multiple world championships in different weight categories, including the undisputed lightweight championship from 2022 to 2023. Currently, the 25-year-old holds the WBC super-lightweight title.
However, their successful partnership ended after the Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia fight. Interestingly, Hearn didn’t shy away from lashing out at Haney. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old had different reactions to the whole ticket fiasco.

Devin Haney hasn’t had any blemishes in his pro-boxing record. However, during his bout against Ryan Garcia, ‘KingRy’ comfortably thrashed Haney and defeated him. Recently, Haney constantly got himself into some kind of trouble. As such, even several individuals brutally criticized the 25-year-old. Haney’s recent ticket fiasco with Eddie Hearn comes after that.
Even after parting ways, the Matchroom boss has constantly tried to set up Haney’s fight. Most recently, he teased a fight between the ‘Dream’ and IBF super-lightweight champ Liam Paro. With this recent social media nuisance, Hearn might not be keen to help out the 25-year-old again. Interestingly, when Haney was asked about his current state of friendship with Hearn, he seemingly ignored it.

Interestingly, it is not only Hearn who has slammed Haney lately. Boxing superstars Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis have also constantly taken verbal shots at the 25-year-old. Amidst that, Haney also critiqued an MMA star recently. All these antics have currently painted a negative image of the Dream in front of his fellow fighters.
