Ex-Cowboys WR Dez Bryant criticizes Malik Hooker for questioning teammate Micah Parsons’ integrity publicly
Bryant pointed out that Hooker should have spoken to Parsons in person about his views instead of revealing on social media.

Dez Bryant wants answers from Malik Hooker for lambasting Micah Parsons on social media. The former NFL wide receiver argued that Hooker could have handled the situation between themselves.
On Saturday, June 29, Dez Bryant came across an interview from Cowboys defender Malik Hooker. The 28-year-old was on the All Facts and No Brakes podcast with Keyshawn Johnson where he took a not-so-subtle jab at edge rusher Micah Parsons.
Hooker hinted that despite being one of the top players in the NFL, Parsons also remains engaged with matters outside of football. However, Bryant did not agree with the former Indianapolis Colts player.
I don’t think this playa at all…. He could have easily pulled Micah to the side if he felt some type of way… Btw I don’t see no wrong in what Micah is doing… Micah show up whenever it’s time to perform and that should be the only thing that matters.Dez Bryant wrote on X (formerly Twitter)

Parsons gets enough criticism from media personalities and even from other players. So, it’s refreshing that the 25-year-old has the backing of the Dallas Cowboys legend.
Bryant is correct that if Hooker had any problem that it was to confront Parsons directly inside the Cowboys’ locker room. To make matters worse, he questioned the Penn State graduate’s work ethic.
Parsons is arguably one of the best players since he entered the NFL in 2021. In three years with the Cowboys, he bagged two All-Pro call-ups and three Pro Bowls. Hooker later realized that he overstepped his boundaries and wrote a follow-up message for damage control.
Paul Pierce backs Micah Parsons over Malik Hooker
Micah Parsons is in the last year of his rookie contract in Dallas. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Parsons could become the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL post-extension. However, similar to Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, talks of a new deal have yet to begin.

Amidst the ongoing tension in the coaching department and an average offseason free agency shopping has already affected the team’s morale. And now the online bickering between Hooker and Parsons appears to only show the underlying turmoil in the Cowboys locker room.
Paul Pierce, who was part of the latest episode of FOX Sports’ Undisputed, spoke in favor of Parsons.
I am in the professional sports fraternity and I understand that there is an unwritten rule. You don’t have to say this. You don’t talk about another player’s position on money.Paul Pierce said
It’s true that the quarterback and the wide receiver should always be the priority of a franchise whose aim is the Super Bowl. However, a linebacker like Micah Parsons is the heart and soul of the defense, which always wins the game in the end.
