The bad blood between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is second to none in the world of combat sports. Since their clash at UFC 229, both UFC superstars have engaged in various online altercations over the years. Recently, an incident involving McGregor and a Nurmagomedov fan made headlines and was on the verge of turning into chaos.
In a recent video, McGregor was seen confronting a fan who shouted, “Let’s go Khabib!” as the ‘Notorious’ walked by. Things like this are very common but, this time, the former double champion wasn’t in the mood to let it slide. He spat on the fan’s face and started walking away with his security team.
I spit in your face. What you do? Nothing.

The Nurmagomedov fan didn’t respond violently. As a result, it didn’t escalate into a brawl. On top of that, attacking a multimillion-dollar individual surrounded by security isn’t a good idea. However, a civil lawsuit could be a better approach. For McGregor, it wouldn’t be his first one to deal with.

The rivalry between McGregor and Nurmagomedov was revived with the recent PFL fight between Paul Hughes and Usman Nurmagomedov. Since then, both parties have exchanged a few insults at each other on social media. Things crossed the line when the Irishman used a racial and cultural slur to mock the ‘Eagle’.
UFC veteran talks about Conor McGregor’s erratic behaviour regarding Khabib Nurmagomedov
Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s rivalry peaked at UFC 229, fueled by trash talk, personal insults, and a pre-fight bus attack. The Dagestani dominated McGregor, securing a fourth-round submission, then sparked chaos by jumping into the cage to attack his opponent’s team. The rivalry remains one of MMA’s most heated, with ongoing verbal jabs, but a rematch has never materialized.

Over the years, the ‘Mystic Mac’ has made fun of Nurmagomedov, labeling him a terrorist and a fraud. On the other hand, the ‘Eagle’ never liked to take McGregor’s name but indirectly has given strong responses. However, the recent exchanges have been brutal, and this has raised a few questions from UFC veteran Chael Sonnen.
Does it come from PTSD? Is there something that bothers him or haunts him….Is it just a performance? Khabib is not playing but Conor might be but I’ve never seen Conor play before when there wasn’t a playoff.

There has always been a narrative on social media about how Nurmagomedov took McGregor’s soul in the fight. Since the fight, the ‘Notorious’ has never been the same and has simultaneously ruined his legacy. However, all these exchanges between the legends are definitely entertaining for MMA fans.
