Jake Paul and Mike Tyson clashed in November at one of modern sport’s most controversial events. It came just months after Tyson suffered a medical emergency, which forced him to postpone fighting for the first time. But barring the ulcer flare; “Iron Mike” did recover. However, boxing purists are now mad at Paul for yet another reason.

Paul carried the show against the immobile boxer when he vs. Mike Tyson headlined MVP’s Netflix-theme fight. Mike Tyson’s return to pro-sanction was hardly what people thought it’d be. A 58-year-old Tyson looked his age at the AT&T Stadium, dropping a lopsided score in Paul’s favor. Even though the backlash is now simmering down, ‘Problem Child’ stirs up the pot with more problems.

Ayahuasca’s really good for your brain as well, … Same with Toad, Toad is what Parkinson’s… oh sorry, Toad cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so he could come back and fight!

After months of fan backlash in the run-up to the event, Mike Tyson faced Paul in front of a sell-out crowd at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. Concerns about Tyson’s health were heightened when fans quickly noticed that he appeared to stumble on his way to the ring. This was something more than his cross-country ulcer flare.

Now, speaking on a recent live stream with Adin Ross, Paul claimed Tyson concealed a diagnosis of Parkinson’s before they fought! Once-WBA, WBC, and IBF beltholder Mike Tyson’s return to pro-sanction carried nostalgia and streamed to 60 million households. Not that “El Gallo” has ever cared about boxing predictions/critiques. But, that – is a whole other atrocity on its own!

Many called it a rigged fight to make ‘Problem Child’ look good on the pro-sanction card anyway. Now, the implications of making a fight with someone with Parkinson’s is straight-up criminality. Fans have reacted as such.

Fight fans react to Jake Paul’s admission

Mike Tyson is and will remain a legend. But the thing about Legends is that some are in passing and Tyson is surely way past his prime. It was already mad as hell for boxing purists that a legend would fight a money-grab bout with an influencer prizefighter. To do it sick is a whole other ball game.

Jake Paul defended his self-described ‘flat performance’ by admitting he took Tyson easy as the fight progressed. This explains the marked slowing of the pace after the first round, which saw Tyson gasping for air.

Parkinson’s remains an incurable neurological disease and there’s no direct evidence that Tyson was afflicted. Just months before his fight, “Iron Mike” suffered stomach ulcers during a flight. Now, this opens the floodgates even more. Here is what fans think:

After Paul’s admission, it didn’t take long for boxing fans to tear him apart on social media. With the disease not having a cure yet, some billed it legendary how Tyson could even last as many rounds as he did. However, others mocked that it was shameful the fight went on anyway.
