Dijak was sent back to NXT after his failed main roster run as T-BAR in Retribution. He has since completely transformed himself on the developmental brand, becoming a better in-ring and character worker than he ever was. In the recent WWE Draft, he was drafted back to the red brand, and last night, he had his first main roster match in nearly two years.

The self-proclaimed King of Ratios took to X shortly after his match. A fan tweeted out a photo of the superstar’s first appearance on Raw since being drafted. The 6’7 wrestler replied to the photo, tooting his own horn, and said he looked pretty jacked and awesome.

Unfortunately for fans of Dijak, his match was not broadcast live on TV. Instead, he competed against Pete Dunne in a dark match before Raw went on the air. Although not confirmed, the match is rumored to be aired on Thursday alongside WWE Main Event.

This is only the third time these two will ever face each other. The first time they competed was in a British wrestling promotion called Progress in 2017. Their first matchup in the WWE also took place on WWE Main Event in 2022.

Dijak’s WWE contract is soon coming to an end

2024 has seen several WWE contracts end and be renewed. Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor are some names that have re-signed with the company in just the past two months. It appears that Dijak may be next in line and will soon have to make his decision.

According to a report by Fightful, the NXT call-up’s contract with WWE comes to an end next month. What is even more interesting is that he has yet to re-sign or even be approached for a new deal. However, both sides are confident that a new deal will be reached, with both Triple H and Shawn Michaels vouching for him.

It is highly unlikely that WWE would draft him to the main roster without plans to retain him. The former CW Heavyweight Champion has done much since his call-up. However, this is only because the WWE creative team is still making plans for the superstar.
