The French crowd at Backlash serenading Randy Orton‘s theme song word-for-word was an unprecedented sight. Even The Viper seemed taken aback by such a passionate reaction from the sold-out wrestling haven in Lyon. Recently drafted Raw Superstar Dijak apparently reveres it. However, he has an ask. Taking it to X, the 37-year-old asked the fans to emulate that feat with Sheamus‘ battle hymn as well.
The Celtic Warrior made his in-ring return a few weeks ago on Raw. However, he also brought back an element of his on-screen presentation that the fans had been demanding for years. Sheamus was basking in the adulation from the WWE Universe, with his iconic theme song – Written In My Face, reverberating through the arena. However, despite all the love, the fans have yet to catch on to its lyrics.

Meanwhile, for Orton, it was an emotional night at Backlash last Saturday. For the first time in his legendary decades-long WWE career, he saw a throng sing along to his walkout music. The 44-year-old even declared that there’s a night-and-day difference between the overseas crowd and that prevalent in the United States.
I absolutely love that fans sing @RandyOrton’s song now. May I suggest @WWESheamus’s song next? Please and thank you.Dijak on X
Each member of the WWE Universe at the LDLC Arena was rallying behind The Apex Predator and his tag team partner, Kevin Owens. But that wasn’t enough to thwart a debuting Tonga Loa. The former NJPW star proved to be the deciding factor in what was an absolute car-crash of a street fight to open the show. Last night on SmackDown, Orton was furious over what The Bloodline did to him and Owens. The 14-time World Champion vowed to get his lick back on the Samoan hooligans.
When Randy Orton plans to retire from WWE?
It’s been over 20 years since Randy Orton stepped inside a WWE ring for the first time. And despite being in his mid-40s, The Viper’s operating on a whole different level. Not to mention that he underwent a triple fusion back surgery about a year and a half ago to get rid of a career-threatening injury scare.

The doctors had told Randy no, but he defied all the odds. One might wonder for how long he’d be able to continue performing at the highest level. While speaking on Adam’s Apple, the Legend Killer said he wishes to keep dishing out RKOs until he’s 50.

Noting all the recent hierarchical changes in WWE, Orton affirmed that now is the perfect environment for him to thrive. Next Friday on SmackDown, he’ll face Carmelo Hayes in a quarter-final match to advance in the King of the Ring tournament.
