Over the course of the past couple of seasons, the one player who has stood out in the NBA as a pest has been Dillon Brooks. The Houston Rockets star has had his moments with a multitude of opponents. Most notable among them – LeBron James. But considering the number of times the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has won the battle against Brooks, it was surprising for fans to see the Canada international not include him in a list of toughest opponents.
During the Canada National Team’s send-off to the Paris Olympics, the 6′ 6′ guard was asked to name three of those opponents. After thinking over the names, he name-dropped them.

Considering his past with the all-time leading scorer, it seems he intentionally omitted the name of the 4-time champion. He even left out a few other superstars who have given Dillon Brooks a hard time this past couple of seasons.
Dillon Brooks is a hard-nosed defender who can harass opponents. Those qualities are what led the Houston Rockets to acquire him via trade in the last off-season. He is still capable of taking on a scoring load if needed. But the Rockets have more of that from their younger stars.
They brought him over to lock down the likes of LeBron James when they meet in the playoffs. Although it has been unsuccessful so far, his constant pressure does lead to his opponent losing control over their minds. That can be exploited into technical fouls or ejections.

Fans watching the video understood what Dillon Brooks was up to. It seems that he wanted to appease his Canadian teammates. At the same time, avoid naming any superstar who has routinely got the better of him in the past. Most notably the Los Angeles Lakers superstar who Brooks mentioned more than once is the target in every game.

Dillon Brooks might be a bit clever in not naming superstars who he will likely face at the Olympics. He knows they will come in numbers to hunt him and his teammates down. That is considering most of those names are on the Team USA Olympics squad.
