Daniel Cormier and Dillon Danis are having a go at each other on Twitter, ever since Daniel Cormier claimed that YouTuber Jake Paul would beat Dillon Danis in a boxing match.

Jake Paul showed the world that he meant business when he knocked out former NBA star Nate Robinson in only the second round of their boxing fight. Jake Paul’s victory caught the attention of a lot of MMA athletes, and one among them was former UFC Heavyweight Daniel Cormier.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani in DC & Helwani’s MMA Show, Daniel Cormier said that Jake Paul would lose to Conor McGregor in a boxing match, but would easily beat Conor’s sparring partner Dillon Danis. This didn’t sit well with Dillon and all hell broke loose.

“Watch that fat mouth before I shut it” – Dillon Danis to DC

Conor beats Jake Paul in a boxing match, but Jake Paul beats Dillon Danis. Dillon does not need to fight Jake Paul, because he’ll get beat up. He also reiterated the fact that he believes this would happen in a boxing match.

Dillon Danis replied with a doctored image of himself choking Cormier out, with the caption, “Watch that fat mouth before I shut it.”

Before Daniel could reply, Ariel Helwani jumped in, tweeting, “This is worse than a DC photoshop. If you want us to put you over, please do better.”

“Danis sit your ass down before I call Jake Paul for you!!!” – Daniel Cormier

Daniel then replied tweeting, “Danis sit your ass down before I call Jake Paul for you!!!”

Later, Dillon Danis retweeted an image from a Twitter page UFCStats which showed a hilarious fan made poster of Ariel Helwani and Daniel Cormier taking on Dillon Danis in Bellator.

Whose side are you on? Daniel Cormier or Dillon Danis? Was Daniel right in voicing out that Jake Paul would beat Dillon Danis in a boxing bout?
