Dillon Danis is known for his antics in the combat sports community, along with his longstanding connection with Conor McGregor. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert often consistently makes dramatic headlines through fiery online beef and trash talk with several notable combat sports athletes. His latest heated dispute currently remains with YouTuber-turned-professional boxer and long-standing rival KSI.

Danis is currently scheduled to finally make his highly anticipated MMA return after a long six-year hiatus in the Misfits Boxing 22 fight card. The decorated BJJ expert will be officially fighting Warren Spencer, who recently attended the press conference where he once again unleashed relentless trolling.

Misfits Boxing’s co-founder, KSI, was present during the lively press conference and engaged in several heated exchanges directly with Danis. During the chaotic press conference, KSI boldly dared Danis to knock out his upcoming opponent in order to secure double payment.

Although the tempting offer could have motivated many fighters, Danis, staying true to his personality, responded with unexpected stubbornness and humor. Instead of agreeing, he turned the tables and surprisingly gave KSI another outrageous offer for negotiations, sparking additional controversy.

As expected, KSI was shocked and immediately refused to accept the offer, further pointing out the difference between boxing and MMA. KSI was not scheduled for this card after his previously canceled bout with Danis, which was planned for an earlier event. Misfits Boxing 22, titled “Ring of Thrones,” will take place on Saturday at Manchester’s AO Arena in England.

The event is headlined by former UFC star Darren Till, who will clash against former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. Both veterans shared an intense face-off off and the trash talking was equally entertaining for the crowd. It is Till’s third boxing bout since leaving UFC back in 2022 after multiple back-to-back losses. 

Apart from that, Tony Ferguson makes his crossover debut in a six-round middleweight boxing bout against Salt Papi. After eight consecutive losses in the UFC, the ‘El Cucuy’ is eager to get his hands raised this weekend. This crossover night blends ex-UFC fighters, influencers, and entertainers for an unpredictable evening of combat sports and mainstream spectacle excitement.

Many passionate combat sports fans strongly demanded legal accountability, insisting Jackson should be behind bars for the alleged attempted murder of Smith. Dillon Danis, who often speaks on such matters, talked about this in a recent interview with MMA Fighting. 

To be honest, it’s hard to watch, but in a way, he might have something wrong, maybe like anger problems because, why would he do that?…So the guy obviously let him pick him up. And then slamming him like that is ridiculous.. But the first one was like a f*cking haymaker. He’s trying to, like, kill the guy and it’s just sad. Like, I don’t understand what happened…But if it wasn’t Rampage’s son, I’d be like, ‘That motherf*cker.’ But that sh*t’s f*cked up to do to someone, especially on an indy show like that.
