Bills fans, hold onto your horses because Dion Dawkins did not get Josh Allen tattooed on his leg. It was a false alarm.
WKBW’s Matthew Bove shared footage from an interview where a flabbergasted Dawkins denied everything. He jokingly pointed out that the guy in the viral tattoo video was someone else.
People are insane, okay. If you look at the video… That is a white guy.

Some plays deserve to be immortalized, similar to Allen’s brilliant diving touchdown in the snow. Allen created history against the San Francisco 49ers by becoming the first quarterback to throw, rush, and receive a touchdown to beat their NFC counterparts in December 2024.
Wide receiver Amari Cooper caught a pass from the Pro Bowler but saw his path blocked by Niners defenders. A Bills player charged in to help the stranded receiver. It was none other than Allen. Cooper shoveled the ball to Allen, and he dove into the endzone for an iconic touchdown.

Someone decided to tattoo that final heave on his thigh. Most fans thought it was Dion Dawkins in the video because of their tight-knit friendship. However, the six-foot-five, 320-pound offensive tackle claimed it wasn’t him.
His leg is so tiny and his stomach is so tiny… He can not protect Josh Allen. That is not on my body. It was insane and it has been going on all over the internet.

Dawkins would never get a Josh Allen tattoo on his body
The 31-year-old may go to great lengths to shield his quarterback from NFL defenses, but he refuses to have a tattoo of Allen on any part of his body. There’s a valid reason behind it.

It would just be too awkward.
Snow facemask, that is iconic, and I would get that [but] I did not get my quarterback tattooed bro… I am not getting my quarterback tattooed. Do you know how weird he would feel around me if I got my quarterback’s tattoo on my body? That is so weird.

Dawkins has always been a big supporter of Allen. After the blockbuster match against the 49ers, he revealed the reason behind his quarterback’s success.
It’s drastically different, our quarterback is engaged—There’s love in the air, man… You can see how he smiles, you can see how he is on interviews. You can see how he is running on and off of the field. You can feel how he’s playing. That’s what’s different. It stems from 17, and the rest trickles down.

Allen announced his engagement with Hollywood star Hailee Steinfeld in November 2024. The good news off the field undeniably helped him become a better player on it. He led the Bills to the AFC Championship games, where they lost by just three points to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Allen ended his seventh year with the Bills with a 13-4 record. He threw 307 completions for 3731 yards (63.6% completion rate), 28 passing touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. He also rushed 102 times for 531 yards and scored 12 rushing touchdowns en route to becoming the league MVP.
