Sunday Night Football at home does not seem to be favoring the Dallas Cowboys so far. Losing both, one an embarrassment and the second a close loss, has left America’s team with a losing record.

The first loss pushed them to play better in their third game against the Baltimore Ravens. It was evident they wanted to win it that badly as the sideline outbursts from CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons showed.

But today, the newly resigned star receiver towed a different line. When asked specifically about his outburst, the All-Pro player took accountability.

I know that’s not the player I am. I know that’s not the teammate I am. It was a bad game on my end. I fully take accountability in that. I will be better in the future. And it’s gonna be fine.
CeeDee Lamb said in the press conference

Lamb accepting that his behavior on the sidelines was not appropriate is a start. As accountability can help a team in the long run as they bid to win games.

CeeDee Lamb fumbling the ball ended a drive that could have cut the deficit. He knew at that instance that his performance led to the team struggling to win that game. With the game ending 25-28, that fumble could have led to either a game winning touchdown or a game-tying field goal.

He understands it was a missed opportunity. For a player about to watch 34 million American dollars walk into his account, he knows his responsibilities. He was paid to lead the charge. Not fumble the ball and finish with a mere 67 yards. But at least he took responsibility and will work on it, unlike his illustrious teammate.

CeeDee Lamb’s $60 million QB Dak Prescott avoids the press

That illustrious teammate happens to be Dak Prescott. Jon Machota revealed this after listening to Lamb speak;

Dak Prescott usually talks to reporters the week before a game. Can’t remember the last time he hasn’t. But nothing on this short week.

Dak Prescott never misses media sessions, even when his name was the focus of every reporter in the offseason. This missed session left reporters surprised.

It could be that he preferred to not take questions this time. As after his comments suggesting Dallas Cowboys fans could leave the bandwagon if they wanted, did not sit well. He probably expected the media to focus on that comment.

After becoming the highest paid player in NFL history, the last thing he was expected to do was to talk back to his own supporters. Maybe he prefers to win games and let that drown out the noise from that comment.
