A professional athlete’s passion for their craft is fundamental. When the game is not going in their favor and there is nothing that the athlete can do to change it, that is a situation in which passion can turn into frustration. This Sunday, as the Chicago Bears struggled offensively against the Houston Texans, wide receiver DJ Moore‘s body language and facial expressions oozing frustration went viral.
There were clips of an enraged Moore saying something to backup QB Tyson Bagent after Caleb Williams was unable to complete a pass forcing the Bears to punt the ball. In retrospect, the wide receiver expressed regret over his poor body language via NBC Sports.
It was a natural response and while DJ Moore cannot be blamed for wanting to be competitive, he wishes he handled the situation better.
I shouldn't have shown as much. But it's a part of the game. Like I said, we were one play away from the game-changing. And we just couldn't connect. Nobody on offense could connect with the one play or get the one play started to get us on track and go up. It's football. Everybody is going to have their ups and downs and frustrations.DJ Moore told the reporters
The Bears lost 19-13 to the Texans, if Caleb Williams had completed his throws, there was a possibility of at least tying the game up.

In the heat of the moment, DJ Moore did not realize the impact his body language could have while being aired on television. As a competitive athlete who just wanted to win, he was frustrated about the fact that the game was slipping out of the Bears’ hands and there was nothing he could do to save his team.

The wide receiver shared his thoughts on the video of him expressing his frustration becoming viral.
I mean, looking at it, I didn't think it was, but you look at the TV, and it's blown up, and I'm like, alright, that's enough, and then you can do some self-evaluation. I would say that it was too much.DJ Moore added
Well, in all fairness to Moore, he was not the only person expressing his frustration at the way Caleb Williams was leading the offense. Surely, some fans must have been on the verge of throwing objects at their television out of frustration.
The Houston Texans were a tough matchup for the Bears. But it was Caleb Williams’ underwhelming performance that disappointed fans. The quarterback failed to throw a single touchdown. The Bears are set to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3 and the team will be eager to bounce back.
