WWE has been providing solid weekly shows that have been sold out from the arena every single week. This is a stark change from the earlier administration which could not deliver week in and out. With such shows, many stars expressed their views on this radical change. It includes former WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler, a.k.a. Nic Nemeth, who revealed his reaction over this week’s Raw.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Nemeth revealed that he watched this week’s Raw. He opined that the whole episode was story-driven. The former WWE star expressed that the crowd was loud, and the show was properly planned even for the type of person who is not familiar with the current stories for a while.

I was blown away. It was really long-term story based stuff, and I feel it's probably why the crowd is so hot, so many people are there, people are invested and you get so much more invested in a story, even if it's a few months.

Moreover, Dolph Ziggler added that the show has that connective tissue that makes it feel like everything is part of the same thing. This week’s Raw kicked off with a segment by Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio that turned into a match between Carlito and Damian Priest. It also featured a brawl between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.

The main event had a blockbuster match between Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. Overall, it was a packed show, and many fans would likely have the same opinion as that of Nic Nemeth. With such a high standard of the shows, Triple H must have a huge responsibility of delivering every week.

WWE Raw ratings peaks highest since April 2024

This week’s Raw was stacked all over. It featured heavy hitters like Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and even SmackDown star Randy Orton. Although Raw has not been a favorite show for fans lately in terms of ratings, WWE must have had some hope of topping up the views.

According to PWTorch, the first hour of the show peaked with a rating of 2.04 million. It was the first time any hour of the show went over 2 million since April 8. The second and third hours of the episode were 1.97 and 1.65 million, respectively. Moreover, the overall show had an average rating of 1.89 million views.

The show rarely goes over 2 million these days. The first hour of the show setting up the standard with such high TV ratings must be positive news for WWE. It is going to be interesting to see if they will continue to thrive in such a way in the future as well.
