Dominic Calvert-Lewin named the EPL Player of the month after a debut goal against Wales
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is in the best phase of his career right now. Calvert Lewin is the main reason for Everton’s wonderful start to their new campaign in the English Premier League. Under Carlo Ancelotti, Calvert Lewin has turned himself into a goal-scoring machine.
The Everton forward after his amazing performances for Everton earned his well – deserved England debut against Wales. Just after scoring in his England debut Lewin has been awarded with the Premier League Player of the Month award.
Player of the Month performance
Calvert-Lewin scored 5 goals in 3 Premier league matches in September for Everton. Now he has one more goal added to the tally after scoring against Brighton. Lewin also managed to score a hat-trick against West Ham in the EFL round of 16. The second striker’s hat-trick booked Everton a Quarter Final clash against Manchester United.
The England International who is in the form of his life has also been given a brand new FIFA 21 POTM card on FIFA Ultimate team. He has rated 84 in FUT with 88 pace, 82 shooting and 85 physicality. His amazing performances for his club earned him an International call too.
Goal in his debut
Calvert-Lewin made his debut against Wales yesterday after being selected to start by Gareth Southgate. Jack Grealish who also made his debut against Wales crossed in an excellent ball in the 26th minute which was headed in by Calvert – Lewin.
The Everton striker in his interview to ITV Sport said, “I have worked very hard to get here, it has felt like a long road but I am very pleased to be here and get the opportunity and score on my debut. I enjoyed the time that I did play on the pitch and be ready to step in if I am needed.”
