Just a few days before his high-profile showdown with John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series, Dominik Mysterio cut a promo on this week’s Raw. The folks in Oklahoma City hijacked the AAA Mega Champ’s address with loud John Cena chants, which led ‘Dom’ to call the city a dump and inform them that their hero wasn’t even in the building.

He could forever brag about being involved in the final three matches of John Cena’s WWE career. Rey Mysterio‘s son dropped the Intercontinental title to the 17-time world champion on Raw in Boston. That win unlocked a new milestone for Cena as he completed a career grand slam in WWE.

It was revealed by Cody Rhodes during a recent interview with ALL THE SMOKE that Mysterio is often associated with the company’s future in backstage conversations.

When asked about Rhodes’ kind words for him, Mysterio told Stephen A. Smith on ESPN that he’s just getting started.
