Dominik Mysterio has been out of action for the last few weeks. However, he is active with his on-screen appearances. Recently, he opened up about his injury and provided some updates on his return status.

Speaking on the Masked Men Show, the Judgment Day member stated that he suffered a torn ligament in his arm. He called it an accident he suffered while wrestling a match a few weeks ago. Dirty Dom revealed that it might take about six to eight weeks from here on until he comes back to the ring once again.

Arm is good. It’s healing up good. I had a slight tear in my Tommy John ligament, which was kind of a freak accident in the wrestling world because it’s a baseball injury. About six to eight weeks. I’ve been doing two times a week for rehab. I’m just trying to get healthy and get back out there to help Judgment Day so they can physically start hurting again.

Besides, Dominik Mysterio also disclosed his weekly schedule to deal with his injury. He stated that he has been taking two weeks of rehab lately. Mysterio looks forward to coming back to the ring and helping on Judgment Day. He has been focusing on his physical and mental health right now to become better than ever.

Although the former North American champion is out of action, that doesn’t stop him from contributing to the ongoing storyline. He was seen a few weeks ago backstage with Liv Morgan. It was a potential hint towards Judgment Day, betraying Rhea Ripley. It is going to be interesting to see where the future of the young Mysterio is headed from here on out.

Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan have been spotted together several times backstage. As per some fans, the two stars are about to form an alliance in WWE. However, it seems like Dom Dom has no comments to make about his shenanigans backstage.

During a conversation on the Masked Men Show, the host asked the Judgment Day member about the controversy between him and Morgan. Dirty Dom clearly tried to stall the answers as he said that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Moreover, he went on to claim that he is doing everything for Rhea Ripley and is securing her position until she comes back.

I mean… That’s fair and I appreciate that (the fact that Kaz wanted to let Dominik Mysterio know what the people were talking about). But I think at the end of the day, everyone is innocent till proven guilty. And I’m just… I’m here protecting Mami.
