Seth Rollins was a part of this year’s WWE supershow at Madison Square Garden. While The Visionary has been dealing with his own demons on Monday Night Raw, he faced the young gun Dominik Mysterio at the event. The two stars went on to deliver an incredible clash featuring a scathing rant from ‘Dirty’ Dom as he disrespected the New York crowd.

During the match, Mysterio grabbed a microphone to address the WWE Universe. He revealed that before his bout, he had tried the chicken tenders in New York and found them absolutely terrible, fueling his anger throughout the match. His frustration reached its peak as the 27-year-old unleashed vicious kicks on Rollins while continuing to berate the fans at Madison Square Garden.

One of the worst chicken tenders in all of New York….that was dog**it.

Despite The Judgment Day member’s agitation, it did not take long for Seth Rollins to turn the tide. Shortly after Mysterio’s promo, the former World Champion unleashed his fury, securing a decisive victory at the historic event. Notably, Rollins also paid tribute to the late Brodie Lee, a.k.a. Luke Harper, by delivering his signature discuss clothesline during the match.

For the 28-year-old, it marked yet another loss in WWE. Earlier this week on Raw, Mysterio suffered a tough defeat against Damian Priest. It seems WWE currently has no significant plans for the former NXT North American Champion. With Raw set to move to Netflix next month, it will be interesting to see if the company develops a more concrete direction for Dominik’s character.

Dominik Mysterio reflected on the death of Eddie Gurrero

Eddie Guerrero‘s death remains one of the most tragic moments in professional wrestling history. A beloved WWE legend and former champion, Guerrero was one of the most popular wrestlers of his era. Recently, Dominik Mysterio, who shared a close bond with Guerrero, opened up about how his untimely passing profoundly impacted him during his childhood.

Speaking on No Contest Wrestling, Mysterio revealed that, despite rarely showing emotions as a child, he couldn’t hold back tears while watching the Eddie Guerrero tribute. He shared how it was deeply upsetting to realize he would never see the WWE legend again, a moment that left a lasting impact on him.

I just remember crying as a kid watching this. Remembering him, and just what he had done with me, and just everything that like we had gone through and that angle, you know? So I remember that as a wrestling fan, because I knew I wasn’t gonna see him again.

Mysterio admitted that Guerrero’s passing affected him not only as a fan of wrestling but also on a personal level. As a child, he struggled to fully comprehend what was happening. However, the atmosphere surrounding the tragedy gave him a chilling realization that Eddie was gone and would never return.
