These past few weeks have been tough for Dominik Mysterio. The Judgment Day member first lost the mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin and sustained a black eye from Rhea Ripley‘s beating in the process. Furthermore, Dom missed the chance to win the Intercontinental Championship after losing in a triple threat match. Unfortunately, his misery continued as he suffered another loss in under three minutes.

After the latest episode of SmackDown went off the air, Dominik Mysterio faced Kofi Kingston in a dark match. He was unable to do much, as The New Day member secured a win in just 2 minutes and 33 seconds. To make matters worse, “Dirty” Dom hasn’t won a singles bout since early January of this year.

Dominik’s last win came against The Miz on the January 22nd episode of Raw, where he defeated him in a singles match. On the latest episode of Raw, Mysterio competed in a triple threat qualifying match for the Intercontinental Championship against Dragon Lee and Ilja Dragunov. However, before the former NXT North American Champion could make an impact, Damian Priest chased him out of the arena, turning the match between the remaining competitors into a singles match.

The tussle between The Judgment Day and the Terror Twins wasn’t over for the night yet. The Archer of Infamy and Jey Uso faced Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in the main event. The current World Tag Team Champions received substantial help from Morgan, Dom, and Carlito from outside the ring. However, despite being injured, Rhea Ripley managed to force them out of the arena, allowing Jey to hit the Uso Splash and secure the win.

Dominik Mysterio reveals the conditions Rey Mysterio has to follow to bury the beef between them

Dominik Mysterio’s rise as a wrestler began when he betrayed his father, Rey Mysterio, and Edge two years ago. Since then, the father-son duo has faced each other in two WrestleMania matches, with “Dirty” Dom losing both. Recently, the 27-year-old star set some conditions for a potential reunion as partners.

While speaking on Rosenberg Wrestling, Dom outlined what he wanted his father to do if they were to reunite as a team. He stated that the legendary luchador must be on his knees in the middle of the ring while removing his mask. Then, the Hall of Famer must offer the mask to his son and declare him the greatest Mysterio of all time.

He would have to publicly get on his knees, in the middle of the ring in front of me, take off his mask, unmask himself willingly, hand it to me like he’s presenting it to me, as some sort of offering and declaring that I am the greatest Mysterio of all time.

The Judgment Day member insulted his father, saying his voice sounded like “Kermit the Frog.” Dominik further claimed he was better than his father in every aspect of wrestling, including his hair, fashion sense, and tattoos. Rey has already expressed his desire to face his son in his retirement match, so only time will tell when they will share the ring again.
