Domonique Foxworth doesn’t trust Antonio Brown to lead the Buccaneers’ to the Super Bowl
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came out with a resounding victory against the Carolina Panthers, to maintain their top spot in the group. A 32-6 margin of the victory simply shows the manner in which the Buccanneers’ attack has played out the match and are shaping up for the business end of the season.
However, the strong showing did not seem to convince everyone, which includes former NFL player, Domonique Foxworth who currently serves as one of the panellists for ESPN. The cornerback blatantly spoke of his distrust of Tampa Bay Buccanneers’ Antonio Brown, to lead them to a SuperBowl title this year.
Domonique Foxworth reckons that Leonard Fournette will be a big miss for Tom Brady’s side in the playoffs
I have no idea what that man is going to do. I know if he’s on the field and he’s active Tom Brady is going to get it to him. But, I just it’s hard for me to go into the playoffs and think oh, our offense is resting on Antonio Brown, and feel confident about that going forward.
Now that side aside, the AB specific issues aside, I think Leonard Fournette is going to be missed as a pass-catching option more than anything else. When you start playing these top-rated teams, Tom Brady we know, he likes to attack down the field. Now with this offense, with the receivers, he has now.
However, we know when it gets hot, he wants to dump it off so he can get a feel of what the defense is doing. He wants to check it down and dump it to a running back, and we haven’t seen that guy emerge since Leonard Fournette is been out. They didn’t need it against the Panthers, but they are going to need it in the playoffs.
