Former American cornerback Domonique Foxworth has locked in his NFL MVP pick early in the season. The 41-year-old chose Washington Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels as his MVP over Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen.
Jayden Daniels has had a breakout season. In his first eight games, he has made a name for himself. In the last game against the Chicago Bears, Daniels showcased one of the current season’s highlights. He led the Commanders to their fifth win of the season through a hail-mary touchdown in the game’s dying minutes. The last match-up also gave Daniels an edge over Caleb Williams, who was drafted first overall ahead of Daniels.
Speaking on a segment in ESPN’s Get Up, Foxworth claimed that although he felt Allen was good, he chose Daniels to be superior to him. The cornerback expressed that Daniels has done more to Commanders as a quarterback than any other quarterback has done for their team.

While it may be premature to call them Super Bowl contenders, the Washington Commanders, led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, head coach Dan Quinn, and offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, are crafting an exceptional season.
Daniels has displayed remarkable accuracy, ranking second in the NFL with a 71.8% completion rate. His ability to stretch the field with 8.4 yards per attempt and his 72.7 QBR also ranks fifth. Remarkably, Daniels is still in his rookie year. It is also to be noted Josh Allen’s first year didn’t look anywhere near how it has been going for Daniels.
Jayden Daniels hails divine interference in a miracle touchdown
Jayden Daniels praised God after the series of events that saw him shoot up in popularity across the week. Daniels, suffered a rib injury during the win against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7. The rookie was initially supposed to stay on the sidelines for longer.
Daniels is said to have put in so much time to come back. He shone brightly in his return with a hail-mary pass to attempt a late comeback. Speaking to Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports, Daniels announced that it was his faith that made it possible.
The much-anticipated game was the sixth first and second overall matchup since the draft era. Daniels extended the supremacy of No. 2 draftees to a 4-12 record. They play New York Giants next looking for a blowout win
