LPGA golfer Daniela Holmqvist’s wedding welcomes a star-studded lineup of prominent figures with President Donald Trump and Elon Musk being the highlights of the event. The event was held on Friday at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
Among the wedding guests, other notable figures were – Vanessa Trump, daughters Kai and Chloe Trump, NHL legend Wayne Gretzky and his wife Janet, and Torrie Wilson. Players from LPGA to attend were – former U.S. Women’s Open champion Paula Creamer, and Madelene Sagestrom.
Dani Holmqvist tied the knot with Charles Schick at Donald Trump’s Florida home Mar-a-Lago. Holmqvist had prior connections to Trump as she was seen attending the presidential inauguration in January.
Holmqvist’s, nicknamed ‘Spider Woman’, career took a turn for worse in 2024 when she was forced to an early retirement from games due to back and nerve injuries. Later she even missed the cut for the Founder’s Cup in Bradenton, Florida.
Currently, she’s planning to participate in the Ford Championship at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona. The game will start on March 27.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk might work together for PGA-LIV deal
Apart from attending Daniela Holmqvist’s wedding in Florida, the two iconic figures Donald Trump and Elon Musk might also be seen working together in the future for the PGA-LIV deal. Recently, there’s been rumors of a possible Musk involvement in the merger.

Rory McIlroy once labeled Elon Musk as “the smartest guy in the world” and many rumors are now connecting Tesla’s CEO as their next big figure to join the meetings. The PGA Tour and LIV Golf war has been going on since the Saudi-backed league’s inaugural in October 2021.
A deal is yet to take place but meetings at the White House have made the process a bit smoother. However, despite the active voice of Trump, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan and Tiger Woods believe it’ll not happen this year but shortly in the future.
🚨👀⛳️ #NEW: PGA TOUR commissioner Jay Monahan provides an update on negotiations: “The talks are real and they are substantial. They have been significantly bolstered by President Trump…. He wants to see the game re-unified, we want to see the game re-unified.”

The merger will allow the LIV Golf players to participate in some major PGA Tour events, allowing the fans to get a glimpse of the world’s best competing together. It’ll also form a platform to calm the ongoing war and move the game forward.
