Velasquez is also a new addition to the fledgling Global Fight League (GFL) that goes up soon. He serves as a manager in the 6-team-based fighting league. His longtime trainer at American Kickboxing Academy, Javier Mendez, will serve as his head coach, who has close ties to Abdelaziz. Donald Trump’s inauguration was an UFC event feat. Dana White, Joe Rogan, Conor McGregor, and more

Donald Trump’s second and final presidential inauguration had a strong martial arts presence. Facing 34 counts of hush payment fraud, the 78-year-old clinged on to ‘fighter in fighter’s world’ rhetoric. That, and given how vital Trump Org was in kickstarting UFC, has made him a favorite. The Republican head maintains that even now.

UFC CEO Dana White was obviously present, given he had a big hand in him being elected. White was also part of his Pandemic-era Republican Busniess Taskforce and quarry of global thinkers. Three handful RNC and one electoral victory speech forward, he does it again.

Having flown in straight from UFC 311 in Los Angeles on Saturday, White took center stage. He went on deliver a four-minute speech in which he hailed Trump’s victory. He was not alone as a star-studded cast of boxing, UFC, and WWE notables went in as well.

Joe Rogan was there as well. Former two-division champ Conor McGregor was present, along with the similarly ‘notorious’ Paul brothers. McGregor even shared a bus ride with them; he is heavily rumored to face Logan Paul in a $250 million boxing stint. “Mystic Mac” would later back Donald Trump and the public support he has been getting.

Georges St-Pierre, Tim Kennedy, Gordon Ryan, Jon Jones, and prime techie Mark Zuckerberg also grouped together for it. Bryce Mitchell and former interim welterweight champ Colby Covington also rubbed shoulders with others.

Before this, diehard fan Covington lauded his McDonald’s drive-through availability in Feasterville, Bucks County. “Chaos” also said he worked media duties for the three-time Republican candidate. The day went really for the UFC gang at the inauguration party.
