On Saturday, Wembley Stadium played host to the annual Sidemen Charity match. Amongst the biggest names involved in the game was none other than Logan Paul. The WWE star had an impressive showing on the field, even scoring a goal in the 48th minute. During the celebrations, YouTuber/comedian Stephen Tries took a brutal jab at Paul and his support for Donald Trump.
Tries quipped on commentary that Paul being both a WWE wrestler and Trump supporter proved that CTE does exist. Although not to the same extent as his brother, Paul has backed the current President of the United States on different platforms. In fact, the Paul brothers attended Trump’s inauguration back in January, where Logan had an intriguing interaction with Conor McGregor.
Other than scoring and being mocked for supporting Trump, Paul made headlines for his celebration with Joe Weller. After the latter put his team ahead in the 6th minute, The Maverick delivered a suplex on him. Moreover, Paul ‘pinned’ Weller while the rest of the team counted to three.

The 29-year-old joined WWE almost three years ago. From the get-go, Paul impressed several fans and figures from the wrestling world with his athleticism inside the squared circle. Fast forward to today, Paul is a former United States Champion, having competed against the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Randy Orton on the biggest of stages.
Logan Paul recently participated in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Despite eliminating Damian Priest, the social media megastar fell victim to a GTS by CM Punk. Now, Paul will shift his focus to WrestleMania 41 as a certain Phenomenal One intends to challenge him.
Fans react to Logan Paul-CTE jab during Sidemen Charity match
Whether people like him or not, Logan Paul is one of the most talked-about celebrities in the world. As such, Stephen Tries’ Donald Trump-CTE jab at Paul received a lot of attention on social media. Most fans appreciated Tries for calling Paul out for his Trump support. Moreover, they appreciated Tries “cooking” Paul on such a big stage.

Some users claimed that this was one of the best commentary calls of the year so far. Tries has been a mainstay in the British comedy scene; hence, many knew he doesn’t hold back on his jokes. Meanwhile, one fan argued that Paul wasn’t a Trump supporter. However, not everyone took too kindly to this joke.

If someone's political views get in the way of calling a sporting event you are probably a fragile little soy cuck.
