Since his retirement from professional wrestling, Glenn Jacobs, popularly known as Kane, has entered the realm of politics and joined the Republican Party. In 2018, he was elected as the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, a position that he holds to this day. Given the recent political landscape in the USA, the WWE Hall of Famer had a lot to say about Donald Trump and Joe Biden. 

Joe Biden recently announced that he was dropping out of the 2024 U.S. presidential election race. Hence, he would no longer be the nominee for the Democratic Party. Shortly after this news broke out, Jacobs took to X to express his thoughts on the situation. The former WWE Champion called for the immediate resignation of the 46th president of the United States.

Jacobs claimed that if he was not fit to run for president, he was not fit to serve as the ongoing president either. The Hall of Famer has come out in support of Donald Trump multiple times during his political career. Both of them belong to the same political party and agree ideologically in many areas.

Kane even came out in support of Trump after he was found guilty on 34 counts. Jacobs is not the only wrestler who speaks positively about the billionaire. Logan Paul was highly impressed after the former POTUS survived an assassination in Pennsylvania. Furthermore, he even got the 78-year-old to appear on his podcast.

Glenn Jacobs, AKA Kane, goes on a social media frenzy after Joe Biden steps down in the presidential race against Donald Trump

Glenn Jacobs did not stop after the above tweet. The next twelve hours saw him make both hilarious and serious tweets about the situation. A few hours after asking the president to resign, he posted a link to the Wikipedia article on the infamous Montreal Screwjob at Survivor Series 1997. He claimed that Joe Biden could relate to the incident.

The formerly known Kane also pointed out that it was National Ice Cream Day when the 81-year-old announced stepping down from the race. Biden is often trolled on the internet for his love of ice cream, and Jacob made a direct reference to this fact.

Some more serious tweets by the Knox County mayor involved theories and speculations about the opposing party. He claimed that the Democrats had a severe lust for power. Furthermore, he talked negatively about Kamala Harris, Barack Obama, and other big names in the Democratic Party.
