In a major development, Donald Trump‘s golf course in Scotland was vandalized. As per reports, a group of activists broke into his iconic Turnberry course and damaged the properties of the course while leaving a huge message for him.
The Turnberry course is one of Trump’s top golf properties. In 2024, the US President was reported to be working on making some changes to the course. He had also expressed his desire to host the Open Championship once again.
As per reports, an alleged group of pro-Palestine supporters carried out this attack. While breaking into the course, they would smash the lamps, damage the greens, and use red and white spray paints on several spots. One of the messages written in white read, “Gaza is not 4 sale“.

Trump had previously made some bold statements regarding Gaza. The 47th US President had urged the population of Gaza to relocate to a new place. This came after the first phase of the truce between Israel and Hamas ended without a clear agreement on the next step.
In a statement released by the activist group, they claimed that they “rejected” the treatment of Gaza by Donald Trump.
To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance.
The activist group said in a statement as per Associated Press

This development also comes at a time when Donald Trump is highly involved in the merger talks regarding the PGA Tour and the PIF. The 78-year-old had previously claimed that he could get the deal done in 15 minutes if he was asked to intervene.
Donald Trump’s bold claim of wrapping up PGA Tour-PIF merger deal yet to be materialized
Before his re-election as the President of the United States, Donald Trump has claimed that he could close out this deal within 15 minutes. However, so far, nothing major has happened which has left many people frustrated.

The merger deal, which was announced in June 2023, is yet to be concluded. Since Trump’s intervention in this deal, there have been some talks at the White House between PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan, some player directors and Yasir Al-Rumayyan.
As per reports, the recent talks between the parties did not go as well as many had anticipated. Despite this setback, the US President is confident that this deal will be wrapped up soon.

There had been reports that claimed that the two parties have reached a financial agreement regarding this deal. This also led to some rumors about LIV Golfers returning to The Players Championship in March. However, that is not going to be the case as the deal is a bit far away from getting done.
One of the biggest aspects of the merger deal is the reunification of the game. Since the establishment of LIV Golf, the sport has been left divided. Once this deal is wrapped up, the PGA Tour stars and LIV Golfers will likely once again play under one tour.
