Drake has once again gained the limelight for his on-stage shenanigans continuing an outstretched beef. After the Super Bowl halftime show by Kendrick Lamar, fans had expected the God’s Plan rapper to react to the situation. However, the latter rapper did not find any smoke as DeMar DeRozan got caught up in the midst.

In a recent video circulating on the internet, Drake is performing ‘Rich Flex‘ at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. While performing, the Canadian rapper unfolded a jersey which turned out to be DeMar DeRozan’s with his name and number on it.

After seconds of realizing it, he hurled the cloth on the ground and moved on. Drake had nothing but a frustrated expression for his former friend. The video caught fumes on social media sooner than wildfire as the fans hopped on to express their opinions.

The video comes after his nemesis Kendrick Lamar performed his viral diss track on his Super Bowl halftime show. The said track, Not Like Us has been one of the most controversial and successful songs of the year with several expletives. The song is also under legal battle currently as Drake hit Universal Studios with claims of alteration in records.

The contentious song was also the reason for Drake’s falling out with former friend DeMar DeRozan. The two started their friendship 10 years ago when the latter played for the rapper’s favorite team Toronto Raptors. However, their amity hit a sour note when DeRozan appeared at Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out Amazon special dancing to the track. Situations got even worse when he appeared in the official music video for “Not Like Us.”

The rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar ended with the latter gaining an up on the former and the majority decision of the public. After Drake’s video showcasing his unresolved issues with DeMar DeRozan, fans were discontent.

While way past it, the fans want more from the Canadian rapper as they hope to see him break the silence on the profanities used by Lamar. Here are some of the reactions:

Notably, Drake has been vocal about his dislike for DeRozan who is perceived to have taken sides in their dispute. Additionally, this is not the first time he has expressed distaste for an NBA player who sided with Kendrick Lamar.

Previously, he had also altered his lyrics to throw shade at LeBron James. The NBA MVP was close friends with him before he was spotted jamming to the viral diss track.
