Nate Diaz recently weighed in on Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl half-time performance outfit. The UFC icon questioned the boot-cut jeans worn by the American rapper, claiming that they were worn by high school girls. Consequently, after carrying the diss, he said that he was just joking around.
Lamar was up against the likes of Lil Wayne and pop icon Miley Cyrus to be part of the half-time show. However, all signs pointed out that Kendrick Lamar’s half-time Super Bowl stint was deemed a snoozefest. In an X post, ex-UFC star Nate Diaz posted a photo of some girls wearing the same jeans to troll Lamar.
WTH ???

This what all the girls wore in high school
#gurlpantslamar. I’m playin lol it’s all Gucci lol.
The show had a lot of elements like a surprise cameo in Lamar’s well-mitigated and somewhat balanced catalog of hit records. Another surprise cameo by Hollywood veteran Samuel L.Jackson as an “Uncle Tom”, with crowd-favorite GOP US President Donald Trump present.
WTH ???

Super Bowl LIX at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome saw a weird but unique PEEKABOO motif that looked like a clear PlayStation or Squid Game reference. The performance had its downs as well. A pro-Palestine protester got the security tackle!
Nate Diaz is a huge Drake fan. In the past, the rapper placed a huge bet on Diaz when the Stockton superstar faced Jake Paul in boxing. Moreover, Drake also revealed that the younger Diaz brother was his favorite UFC fighter as well.
Fans react to Nate Diaz’s diss at Super Bowl LIX wardrobe
Kendrick Lamar sported a custom red, white and blue leather Martine Rose varsity jacket -spelling out “Gloria.” It’s subsequently the title of his hit with SZA. The star also fashioned a pair of Celine bootcut jeans, a retro style. Some hinted that the necklace is a reference to the “a minor” line in Not Like Us.

In the finer print, it probably was all set up for his subtle diss track to Drake. In the finer print, all of Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl half-time spectacle was just a pass at the Canadian rapper. Nevertheless, Nate Diaz and his reaction has attracted much attention online.

Seriously though. No matter how bad ass he thought he sounded and looked, it all went out the window when he chose to rock bell bottoms. So weird.

Ask his UFC/MMA culture peers and they’d say that Team Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu’s Nate Diaz is prone to calling out stuff as he sees it. This was a case similar to that. However, a few have quipped the neo-urban California crowd might take offense.
Most others though have supported Diaz and his wacky take on the wacky loose-leg wear. Some have even billed that rap isn’t what it used to be. All in all, the light roast on Lamar has gone quite viral.
