The Golden State Warriors are making a solid statement recently. After their mid-season blunder, Stephen Curry has carried the team all the way from slump. Even veteran Draymond Green has in a way aided up Stephen Curry’s success. However, Draymond Green has been working more upon his stats this season. He recently made it to the list of highest assists along with LeBron James, Wilt Chamberlain and a few others. LeBron James is easily the best playmaker in the league right now. Now it is Draymond Green who has scaled up the elite record along with legendary players.

The Dubs had a roller coaster season so far. With Stephen Curry having on and off season till his injury, it was all upon Draymond Green to lead the rookie squad. Being a veteran Dray took this responsibility and even got the team wins. He has risen to the occasion while getting good numbers to his stats. He is currently averaging 8.8 assists per game for the Warriors.

Draymond Green is currently the 3rd forward/centre player to average this number. He has now joined the elite club with LeBron James, Nikola Jokic and Wilt Chamberlain in the list. While no forward had a season like Dray, he is showing maximum potential of a good playmaker. After missing some games, Dray’s arrival helped Curry to get the help on defense. Green is an absolute beast on defense court. He has already put in the statement that he is the best defender in the NBA right now.

LeBron James has also been working a lot on his stats since coming to the Los Angeles Lakers. His IQ plays, absolute un-imaginable passes are one of his strengths. He proved that he is a scoring champion in the past and now is showing his efficiency on the passing end. He is averaging 7.9 assist per game this season. While he is waiting to comeback from injury, Draymond Green has put his name on the top this season. Draymond Green has worked hard and got up there. Hopefully Dubs make it to the playoff this year.
