Draymond Green might be working in the offseason towards a potential championship bid next season. However, the lure of the NFL has seen him glued to his television. Naturally, he watched Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills trump the Baltimore Ravens with a late rally.

That rally has now fuelled a lot of speculation that the reigning league MVP has now developed enough to become the best quarterback in the league.

His coming of age is timed correctly with the Bills’ focus on winning a championship after retooling their roster last offseason. Many believe the form they displayed last season was the perfect build-up to their Super Bowl bid.

At the same time, Allen willed his team to a remarkable win against the Ravens with a late-game rally, showing he was doing everything he can to bring the Vince Lombardi trophy to Buffalo. However, football aficionado Draymond Green does not think it will happen.

He’s never going to get it done when it matters the most. And so I don’t care how Herculean of a comeback expert you have at home in week one. He’s never going to be the guy that’s going to come out and win a championship and be the guy when it matters the most; he’s not the guy.

Draymond Green told Jordan Schultz

The 4-time NBA champion believes Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes are quarterbacks who can lead their teams to Super Bowl wins. He does not believe Josh Allen’s Herculean late-game efforts are enough to land championships.

Fans flame Draymond Green for his opinion on Josh Allen

Draymond Green believes late-game rallies are good for winning regular-season games. But they are not good enough to win championships. Jordan Schultz himself disagreed with the Warriors’ star.

Then, when clips of this hit the internet, it was the turn of football fans, who had nothing but criticisms about the NBA star’s opinion. They claim he does not have a clue how football works, and he will be wrong when Josh Allen leads the Buffalo Bills to a Super Bowl win.

Then others took shots at him for speaking his mind despite not being a star player himself. They believe Green does not know what it is to lead a team; hence, this opinion is not valid. They took their time to flood the internet with such comments, examples of which are below.

Draymond Green is not one to shy away from controversy, and he openly accepted these brickbats. At the same time, he mentioned that until the Bills win a Super Bowl, he continues to be right about Josh Allen.

Draymond Green and Warriors looking to fight for 5th championship

Along with those fans questioning Draymond Green’s knowledge about the NFL, many basketball fans are not sure the Saginaw native and his Golden State Warriors are good enough to win another championship.

Last season, the 6′ 6″ forward and his superstar teammate, Stephen Curry, had talked about winning a 5th championship. The arrival of Jimmy Butler gave them additional hope that their goal could be possible.

In the playoffs, Curry’s injury stopped them from continuing their late-season form. Otherwise, the Warriors had it in them to continue fighting the rest of the opponents.

Before their attempts last season, Stephen Curry had remarked that they needed a full season to get accustomed to each other’s nuances. In the upcoming 2025-26 season, they will get that chance.

Their offseason might have left their fans worrying about their chances. The team, on the other hand, believes its squad is good enough to battle the best in the league.

If the aging trio of Green, Curry, and Butler can stay healthy, expect them to steamroll some fan and analysts’ favorites. Their season tips off on October 21st when they will play LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.
