Draymond Green has never been someone to shy away from speaking his mind. Whether going after his fellow NBA players on the court or on his podcast, he is bound to say something that stirs up social media. In the latest episode of ‘Why is Draymond Green Talking Football?’ with co-host Jordan Schultz, Green went on a rant against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Prescott was among the early-season favorites for the NFL MVP before the Cowboys went on a losing run. The 32-year-old’s production took a massive hit. Green is not surprised by Prescott’s sudden decline. From his point of view, Dak’s not an elite quarterback.

Green went one step further by calling Prescott a “b*m” and claiming the Cowboys will never win a Super Bowl with him under center because of his poor playoff record.

Dak’s a b*m. He’s getting some numbers, and they stink. Dak’s a b*m. You will never win with Dak. I have won four championships, Jordan [Schultz]. You gotta understand, when I say b*m, I’m not saying Dak Prescott isn’t a good NFL quarterback. Of course, he is a good NFL quarterback. When it is all on the line for all the marbles… He’s a b*m.

Since replacing Tony Romo as the Cowboys’ franchise quarterback, Prescott has a 2-5 record in 7 playoff games. Last year, veteran ESPN contributor Stephen A. Smith made a similar comment about Prescott’s postseason failures. Siding with former head coach Mike McCarthy, Smith slammed Prescott for not performing in accordance with his $61.5 million annual paycheck. Smith said on First Take:

Why don’t you go [Dak Prescott] out there and win for him? Wouldn’t be a discussion. Very, very simple. You’ve been the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys for nine years. You’ve got two playoff victories to show for it.

In the current scenario, the Cowboys are 3-5-1 and are slowly losing ground not only in the NFC East but also in the playoff qualification. The loss against the Cardinals was an all-time low for Prescott. Before the fixture, Prescott was 1-18 while trailing by 10+ points in the first half. It’s now 1-19 according to senior Cowboys journalist Ed Werder.

[Dak’s] been a b*m in the moments. When [the Cowboys] had their best teams, best offensive line in the league. They had all that to get to the playoffs, and he’s a b*m. Now he is making $65 million, and it is way harder to win. You have to be Patty [Patrick] Mahomes good to be that highly paid and still go out and win. It’s over.

Dak Prescott shared his honest opinion about the Cowboys’ newest player

To divert attention from the loss on Monday night, owner Jerry Jones spoke about holding trade talks with other NFL teams. Although the announcement did little to dim the disappointment, a sense of excitement engulfed Dallas for potential new arrivals.

Hours before the conclusion of the trade deadline on November 4, the Cowboys traded for linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals. The Cowboys further announced the trade of defensive tackle Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets.

FOX Sports analyst Nick Wright did not like the Williams trade because the Cowboys sent two high draft picks and former first-round pick Mazi Smith. Wright said on First Things First:

This is insanity by Dallas. Total insanity. They gave up, potentially, 90% for Quinnen Williams of what they got for Micah Parsons. And those players are not in the same stratosphere as far as impact on your team.

Prescott viewed the move very differently from Wright, saying that he was pumped about Williams’ trade.

Williams was a stalwart for the Jets’ defense, especially under former head coach Robert Saleh. He reached 3 Pro Bowls and achieved All-Pro status in 2022. In 98 games, Williams has recorded 322 combined tackles, 40.0 sacks, 59 tackles for loss, 8 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and 1 interception.
