Kobe Bryant and Draymond Green

The Golden State Warriors legend Draymond Green has been one of the most notorious players in the NBA over the years. Green has been known for his dirty play, fouling opposition players, and getting into beefs with them on and off the court. Recently, Green shared a story how the late legendary Kobe Bryant did not pay attention to his antics during Green’s early days in the NBA.

During an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, Green shared that he tried to trash-talk Kobe Bryant in a game against the Lakers in his rookie season. He explained that during his brief time on the court, he found himself one-on-one with Kobe. After Kobe missed a shot following a shimmy move, Green cheered loudly, trying to get into Kobe’s head.

I tried to trash-talk Kobe Bryant. I get in the game, I probably played like 24 seconds of that game...It's me and Kobe man to man...he did a shimmy and took a shot and he missed. I said "Yayyy, Lessgoo Baby!' He(Kobe) said, 'Common young fellow, it had nothing to do with you, I just missed...' It hurts (Kobe not acknowledging Green).

Interestingly, Bryant paid zero attention to Green, which according to the Warriors’ enforcer, hurt his feelings. Even then, the Mamba was one of the best players in the league and rookies like Green used to look up to him.
