The Golden State Warriors played against the Washington Wizards in their 7th game of the 2024-25 NBA season. The Warriors are in great form, losing just one match this season. Their star defender, Draymond Green, maintained a cool rapport on the court in the 125-112 win.
However, Green did have a hilarious conversation with Wizards rookie Kyshawn Geroge. While everyone was expecting a battle to kick off between Green and his former teammate Jordan Poole, who plays for the Wizards now, it was Green and George who had some words exchanged between them.
In the post-game interview, the four-time NBA champion was asked about his interaction with the George. In response, Green revealed that they had a rather hilarious exchange on the court.

The 20-year-old attempted 17 three-pointers and made six, scoring 20 points on 7-for-19 shooting, on the night. He produced three assists and pulled down six rebounds as well. Kyshawn George is currently shooting 31.5% from the field and 20.5% from three-point range, averaging 7.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
One has to give it to the Wizards rookie for having the courage to go up against Green so early in his career, especially after knowing Green’s track record regarding ‘bad/dirty’ plays in the league.
Draymond Green was ‘impressed’ by Wizards rookies Kyshawn George and Bub Carrington
After facing the Washington Wizards in their most recent game, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green pointed out the team’s recent improvements on the court. He and the Warriors were victorious, but the future Hall of Famer was impressed by the Wizards rookies. Green singled out Kyshawn George and Bub Carrington in the post-game interview.
With an average age of 25.6 years, the Wizards are the eighth-youngest squad in the NBA. Jordan Poole, Bilal Coulibaly, and their three rookies make up their starting lineup. This is the most youthful side in franchise history (21.06 years old) ever since the league started keeping track of starters in 1970.
