Dreamhack Fortnite: The semi-regular DreamHack Open has returned to Fortnite, and all are ready to play. It is for the first time since January to make its way back to the game. The Dreamhack Open Ft. Fortnite and the Cash Cup Extra Ft. Fortnite are the two competitions that Dreamhack Fortnite is presently hosting.
The two events would be slightly dissimilar when it comes to dates and the modes that they host these events. If you’re having a hard time figuring out what requires you to take part in it, Here is what you need to know. Read this article to know what one needs to join these events.
Upcoming events of Dreamhack Fortnite
Dreamhack Fortnite’s primary event is going to be the Dreamhack Open Ft. Fortnite. As per the sources, This event will go live from 16th April to the 18th of this month. The tournament will be held on Duos and will be open to players from North America, the East, and Europe. The event says that there would be qualifier matches open for 500 Duos who would advance through each heat to the semifinals.
A Duo team can play 10 games during 3-hour heat. Semi-finals, with 500/1000 duos progressing to the Grand Final, and 50 duos advancing to the Grand Final. During the three-hour heat, each duo can play a maximum of ten games. There would be 8 games in the grand final and each game starts every 35 minutes. You can register for free in the Fortnite ‘Compete’ game section itself.

Another event, Cash Cup Extra Ft. Fortnite, will take place on the 15th, 21st of this month, and on 12th May. The top 132 teams from the current Cash Cup of the respective week will automatically be allowed for the Cash Cup Extra. The mode will be allowed for Trios, and a maximum of ten games will be played in a 3-hour period. Each removal will be a total of six points to them.
