Dave Bautista is set to star in Lionsgate Play’s thriller ‘The Killer’s Game’. The trailer for the movie was recently released, which confirms a former WWE Champion’s appearance. The name in question is none other than Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior will be playing the role of one of the assassins hired to kill Bautista’s character.

Alongside Big Dave and McIntyre, Terry Crews and Sofia Boutella are a few of the other names that star in the thriller. Moreover, this will mark the Scot’s first major acting gig. The film follows the protagonist, Bautista, a hitman who believes he’s living on borrowed time. However, after planning his own death, he finds out that the doctor who diagnosed him switched his report with another patient.

Having said that, this movie will be out in theaters on September 13. Nonetheless, this isn’t the first time that a WWE star will share the center stage with Dave Bautista. Recently, Titus O’Neil disclosed that he’ll have a small cameo in another of the legend’s upcoming projects, ‘Trap House’. The WWE Global Ambassador expressed his gratitude towards The Animal and the rest of the crew.

As for Drew McIntyre, he continues to gain prominence in the wrestling world. The 39-year-old has re-vitalized himself with his new character following a considerably weak 2022–23. Furthermore, the two-time WWE Champion will be challenging Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight title at the upcoming Clash at the Castle PLE in his home country of Scotland.

Drew McIntyre sends interesting message to Cody Rhodes during WWE HQ visit

Ahead of his marquee match in Scotland, Drew McIntyre visited the WWE headquarters. Aside from trolling CM Punk, he took a look at the champions’ gallery. While coming across Cody Rhodes‘ photo, the Scot had something interesting to say.

McIntyre hinted at a future clash with The American Nightmare, saying that he would meet him “down the road.” The pair’s history dates back to 2010, when both of them joined forces as The Dashing Ones. Moreover, the future prospects at the time went on to become the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Both McIntyre and Rhodes would leave the company, achieving a lot of success in other promotions before returning to WWE. Interestingly, the 39-year-old defeated the former AEW star due to Bloodline interference earlier this year. With both stars being on different brands, fans will have to wait a little longer to see them lock horns again.
