This week’s Raw featured the aftermath of last week’s heinous attack of Drew McIntyre on CM Punk. The Scottish Warrior gloated about himself, pandering on about how he had ended the Best in the World’s career. However, his ecstasy was cut short by Raw GM Adam Pearce when he made a shocking announcement.

Pearce rushed to the ring to warn McIntyre about his recent actions. He asked the former WWE Champion to join him in the ring, only to reveal that he had a conversation with CM Punk earlier and the latter wants to face him one more time. As such, the third match between the two rivals was made official for Bad Blood. Further, Pearce revealed that it will take place inside Hell in a Cell.

This huge announcement changed the expression on McIntyre’s face. The latter looked concerned and terrified as the Raw GM walked out of the ring. It was earlier reported that WWE was planning to have this match headline Bad Blood in Atlanta. That being said, the feud has reached such a point of high animosity that it justifies the return of the Hell in a Cell structure.

Moreover, the rivalry has been tied at one each following Punk’s victory at Bash in Berlin. It was also revealed that this is going to be the last chapter of this nine-month-long feud. Hence, it will be interesting to see how things pan out for the two stars after their Bad Blood encounter.

Drew McIntyre reflected on his perfect WrestleMania match

This year at WrestleMania XL, Drew McIntyre faced Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. The two stars went to make history with an incredible match that concluded with a triumphant victory for The Scottish Warrior. Recently, the 39-year-old reflected on the bout and how it eventually became his dream WrestleMania moment.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, the former WWE Champion stated that it was a well-driven match that had near falls and incredible counters. However, the best part was when he became the World Heavyweight Champion. McIntyre averred that at the end, Rollins was emotional, his wife was emotional, and that made the moment even more iconic.

At WrestleMania, Seth had that moment telling me the same thing, which meant a lot and then being able to present the title to my wife, just being such a big part of the journey…that five minutes or whatever, I dragged it out to cause I made sure I milked every second of it cause that was very real, it was very emotional.

However, it was the beginning of the end for Drew’s happiness. CM Punk went on to cost the latter later on when Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. The Scottish-born wrestler has been in pursuit of the championship gold ever since, losing to Priest again at Clash at the Castle.
