Drew McIntyre showed up on this week’s SmackDown for a dark match. After the show went off air, he faced former Bloodline member Jey Uso. This match was entertaining, and The Scottish Warrior had some interesting plans for the crowd. He went on to fake an injury in the initial moments of the contest that ended up scaring the crowd.
During the match, Drew McIntyre delivered a neckbreaker to Uso. While getting up in his old-fashioned way, it looked like he had hurt his knee. Not only that, he then went on to stumble while standing up. It caused a wave of array in the crowd as the referee checked on him. Following a moment of solicitude, the Scotsman gave off a sinister smile to the fans to reveal that he was faking his injury.
The 39-year-old then teased the crowd with his mockery to once again shift his focus on Jey. The latter then tried to get the upper hand on the former WWE Champion. In the closing moments of the match, the former Undisputed Tag Team Champion delivered a wicked spear to defeat McIntyre.
It was a shocking loss for Drew, as he has a huge match against CM Punk at Bad Blood in the next few weeks. However, it seemed like WWE had no issues making McIntyre lose instead of ‘Main Event’ Jey. It is going to be interesting to see how the multi-time champion proceeds ahead of his Hell in a Cell match.
Drew McIntyre sends a serious threat to CM Punk ahead of Bad Blood
Drew McIntyre has been on a career-defining run in WWE. His rivalry with CM Punk has become deeper and more personal than ever. In just a matter of a few weeks, the Scottish Warrior is going to be stepping inside Hell in a Cell with the Second City Saint. He had a bold threat for the latter ahead of their final showdown.

Taking to X, the 39-year-old posted a promo of his match against the Best in the World. The video package was similar to that of The Rock vs. Stone Cold at WrestleMania X7. McIntyre claimed that he is going to make history with the Straight Edge Superstar in more than two weeks time.

It was quite similar to what the former AEW star has in mind. He talked in detail about it in his passionate promo on Raw this week. The heat between the two cannot be contained, and it seems Bad Blood will certainly be the endgame of this vicious saga.
