Drew McIntyre reacts to TikTok restoring services in USA [via- WWE and BBC News]
The past 48 hours have undoubtedly been a tumultuous ride for TikTok users in the United States. On late Saturday night, a law banning the social media platform had come into effect. However, less than twenty-four hours later, TikTok announced that it’s working to restore its services in the country. As such, memes started to flow around online, with the wrestling community also chiming in. One account on X took a shot at Drew McIntyre, which did not sit well with the former WWE Champion.
The fan account compared the TikTok ban to McIntyre’s infamous 5-minute World Heavyweight Title reign at WrestleMania XL. In response, McIntyre sent out a rage-filled tweet, lashing out at the troll on social media. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that the Scottish-born wrestler responded in harsh fashion to fans online. Over the past year, some of McIntyre’s best promo work has come via his social media accounts.

The Scottish Warrior took several shots at CM Punk, posting clips and photos mocking his rival. In fact, McIntyre used his TikTok account to vent his frustration at The Second City Saint on several occasions. Therefore, the 39-year-old would be glad to see the TikTok ban being lifted.

In addition to celebrating the move, Drew McIntyre is currently preparing for a huge fight. The Chosen One will square off against Seth Rollins in a WrestleMania rematch on tonight’s episode of Raw. Last week, McIntyre declared for the Royal Rumble match. Furthermore, he vowed to end Roman Reigns‘ ascension to the top after the latter won back the Ula Fala on the Raw Netflix premiere.

Drew McIntyre’s character development has been a sight to behold for the WWE Universe. McIntyre displayed the best work of his career last year during his iconic feud with CM Punk. Recently, the 2x WWE Champion spoke in detail about his undeniable in-ring chemistry with The Second City Saint.
While speaking with the Daily Mail, McIntyre acknowledged the real-life animosity between him and Punk. McIntyre claimed that the tension helped in their on-screen rivalry, allowing them to create “magic.” The Scottish Warrior referenced their Hell in a Cell match as the primary example of that.
The almost year-long beef was finally settled at Bad Blood inside the demonic structure. In an instant classic, Punk emerged victorious, but both stars suffered a hellacious half an hour of torture and agony. More importantly, the duo restored the much-needed intensity to the Hell in a Cell stipulation with their MOTY contender.
