This week’s Raw saw some extraordinary turns of events for Drew McIntyre. The latter was invited to the show amid his suspension by Adam Pearce. He was offered a match against CM Punk at SummerSlam. Everything was going well for him up to the moment until the Raw GM asked the Scottish Warrior to apologize to the referees. It led to a rugged interaction between the parties, resulting in McIntyre staying suspended.

Following the show, WWE advertised that CM Punk would be returning to Raw next week to address the situation. However, they used a picture where the Best in the World is beating the Scottish Warrior with a chair. A cranked-up Drew McIntyre responded to this with a stern message, calling out the management for using such a picture after the mayhem on Raw.

For context, the 39-year-old attacked the referees and went on to lash out at Adam Pearce with some bold words. He was about to continue his savagery before he was interrupted by Seth Rollins. The Visionary stood up for the management and took McIntyre out of the ring. It was a clear indication that both Drew and Seth are dissatisfied with such ugly affairs.

The former WWE Champion attacked Pearce at the Money in the Bank post-show. McIntyre was then suspended by him. Later, the GM handed a hefty fine to both him and the Second City Saint for their respective actions. Although the two stars have been involved in a heated feud for a while, it also dragged Seth Rollins into the mix. It is going to be interesting to see how things will go for the three stars from here on.

Therefore, there is a possibility that the Straight Edge Superstar would request Adam Pearce to lift the suspension on Drew.

Moreover, this can also be turned into a gimmick match at Cleveland Browns Stadium. WWE can have the two stars face each other in an Unsanctioned Match that can be an all-out war for the ages. It is clear that the path for the Scottish Warrior goes right through the Best in the World, no matter what.
