The continued inclusion of CM Punk into WWE programming despite not being medically cleared to compete is a welcome change under Triple H‘s regime. However, the more Punk’s around, the easier it gets for Drew McIntyre to lay waste on him. This is why the Scot’s been oozing vitriol for The Best in the World every now and then.

The latest exploit saw McIntyre calling Punk a b*tch by penning it over a piece of paper on X. It couldn’t have gotten more poetic than Eminem‘s smash-hit song from the 2000s, Stan, running in the background. This past week on Raw, CM Punk missed the boat by a whisker to close in on his arch-nemesis. Nonetheless, the Chicagoan gave it a chance by calling out The Scottish Warrior to take a U-turn to the XL Center in Hartford. But the latter didn’t return.

In the meantime, the 45-year-old called himself a choke artist, drawing inspiration from that notorious incident at AEW All In last year. The Second City Saint hung in for some time before giving up after realizing that Drew McIntyre wasn’t going to show up again. The former AEW star vowed to break Drew’s face, be it in Scotland. That jibe sparked speculation about a potential skirmish between the two at Clash at the Castle PLE come June 15.

As the fans know, The Voice of the Voiceless has ditched his robotic arm brace since post-WrestleMania XL. He seems to be in a good place as far as his right arm is concerned. It’s still healing up, but Punk appears to have abridged the rehab period by some margin. Everyone’s eagerly awaiting his in-ring clearance.

CM Punk dropped a Kendrick Lamar-themed diss track of Drew McIntyre

Recently, CM Punk jumped on the bandwagon over the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. In a video uploaded to his Instagram account, the 5-time WWE Champion posted a synopsis of his own bad blood with Drew McIntyre, with Lamar’s diss track on Drake, Euphoria, as the background song.

Without much public commotion, The Straight Edge Superstar has sided with K Dot. It would be interesting to see if either Punk or McIntyre make any of the Lamar and Drake references in their potential verbal jousts in the future.

The WWE Superstars in question haven’t actually engaged in a head-on tussle for a while, barring those ugly scenes at WrestleMania XL. Moreover, McIntyre’s recent hyperextension elbow injury is what Punk calls karma in response to Drew tearing his triceps at the Royal Rumble.
