Drew McIntyre kicked off Money in the Bank with a bang by winning the men’s ladder match. Later on, he lived up to his promise when he cashed in his briefcase during the World Heavyweight Championship match. Turning the bout between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins into a triple threat, The Scottish Warrior looked close to winning the title. However, he was once again stopped in his tracks by CM Punk.
Obviously, McIntyre was livid at what transpired. During the Money in the Bank post-show press conference, the Scot barged in to vent his frustration at Punk. As the referees tried to remove him from the premises, the former World Heavyweight Champion pushed them away. Raw GM Adam Pearce had to intervene but got elbowed by the 39-year-old wrestler.

The two engaged in a verbal confrontation before Wade Barrett jumped in to separate McIntyre. Following the finish of Clash at the Castle, the latter was hellbent on avenging the loss in front of his home country. First, the two-time WWE Champion brutalized Punk in his own hometown of Chicago. Moreover, he snatched his rival’s ‘AJ/Larry’ bracelet and vowed to dedicate his win to them.
As for his attack on Pearce, it won’t be surprising if Drew McIntyre faces severe consequences for his actions. Therefore, fans will have to tune into the upcoming episode of Raw, where this issue will most likely be addressed.
