Drew McIntyre has made a name for himself in WWE and around the world. He has been a top star for the company and has achieved amazing feats in and out of the ring. Now, the Scottish Warrior has once again embossed his name on another milestone. Ahead of Clash at the Castle, the 39-year-old has become a part of the Scottish Wrestling Hall of Fame.

The former WWE champion shared a video of his speech at Ibrox. He was accompanied by fellow Scottish superstar Piper Niven. McIntyre expressed his pride in being a part of such an elite class in the Hall of Fame. He went on to say that he missed being in Scotland, despite the fact that he has had a remarkable career in WWE.

Drew McIntyre recently reflected on being released by WWE a decade ago. Now, he has become a mainstay in WWE and has certainly inspired a bunch of upcoming talents. In addition to that, McIntyre’s post received a warm reception from the fans, showing the support he had before the World title clash.

It is going to be a WrestleMania rematch after the unexpected cash-in of the Punisher at the event. With all the stars aligned, it is going to be interesting to see if the 39-year-old star will be able to achieve the biggest victory in his home country.

Drew McIntyre explained why he hates the Money in the Bank concept

Drew McIntyre had possession of the World Heavyweight Championship this year at WrestleMania XL. However, due to the effect of the Money in the Bank, he was screwed off of the title. Recently, in an interview, McIntyre expressed his resentment over the MITB contract.

Speaking with Indian Express, the former WWE Champion stated that the MITB contract has multiple times cost him the World Championship. Moreover, he went on to call Damian Priest a vulture for sneaking the opportunity over the championship.

I can’t stand the Money in the Bank briefcase. I understand the point is to cash it in and win the title, but the reason I’ve lost my last two world titles is because of that stupid briefcase.

iIn the same interview, Drew also mentioned CM Punk. He went on to say that he has deep hatred for the Best in the World. In fact, he disclosed that the Second City Saint has hurt him in the past, both personally and professionally. Therefore, he is going to expose him down the line.
