Last week on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre obliterated CM Punk in his hometown. The former self-destructed and ambushed the Best in the World. It led to the latter being taken away to a local medical facility for treatment. Now, almost a week after the attack coined the ‘Chicago Massacre,’ The Scottish Warrior has laid out his motivations for his war against the Second City Saint.

Taking it to X, the former WWE Champion posted a video of himself expressing his hate for CM Punk. He claimed that he absolutely wanted to destroy the Straight Edge Superstar, just as he did to take revenge for his shenanigans at Clash at the Castle. Moreover, the 39-year-old said that although Punk might call himself ‘Satan’, when pushed, McIntyre is a straight-up ‘Psychopath’.

I hate you. I'm not sure I truly hated anyone my entire life..until you. But I could take solace in the fact you're in pain, and you're suffering because of me. My hate, it's all good cause it dies with you.

The Scottish-born wrestler even quoted the infamous AEW All Out press conference from 2022. He called the Best in the World a “dumb-headed f*ck,” referencing Punk’s promo on “Hangman” Adam Page. Furthermore, McIntyre has sworn an oath that he is going to make sure the Voice of the Voiceless never comes back to WWE in full capacity.

The events in Chicago have taken this feud to another level. It was a straight-up sneak attack by the former World Heavyweight Champion after quitting WWE on Raw last week. Over the top, Drew name-dropped AJ Lee and insulted Punk’s dog Larry this week on Raw. This feud has become more heated than ever, and only time will tell what’s going to be the outcome of this grand turn of events.

Drew McIntyre shared a hilarious photoshop picture of CM Punk

After a hectic week for both Drew McIntyre and CM Punk, the former decided to make things a little less vicious as he once again started trolling the Best in the World on social media. The Scottish Warrior has taken a step ahead with his sarcastic humor, as he went on to cite the AEW departure of the Straight Edge Superstar in his post.

The former WWE Champion posted an edited picture of the Second City Saint from his infamous interview on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. However, the catch was that McIntyre’s face was photoshopped in place of the former AEW star. It was the same interview where the Voice of the Voiceless called out Tony Khan and revealed the behind-the-scenes story of the All In incident.

It was also a reference to the Scottish-born star quitting WWE on Raw, as he was quite upset with the management’s handling of the ‘Scotland Screwjob’. One thing that is widely acclaimed is that McIntyre is unbeatable with his social media game. Hence, it will be interesting to see how things unfold when Punk returns, as the two stars are expected to face each other at SummerSlam.
