The latest episode of Raw was undoubtedly one of the most eventful WWE shows in recent times. The main event featured Seth Rollins taking on Sami Zayn following their intense segment. After a back-and-forth encounter, Rollins rolled up Zayn to pick up the win. However, that wasn’t the end of the show, as Drew McIntyre emerged behind Zayn and delivered a vicious Claymore.

McIntyre has officially returned to WWE, almost two months after his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk. The Scottish Warrior took a well-deserved break, traveling back home to spend time with his family. Days ago, reports circulated that the Stamford-based promotion began conjuring plans for McIntyre’s return.

As for why he attacked Sami Zayn, it might have something to do with him teaming with Punk at Survivor Series. Earlier in the night, Jey Uso was found brutalized backstage with no signs of the perpetrator. Zayn accused Rollins due to their heated opening promo. However, The Visionary affirmed that he wasn’t behind the attack during the main event.

Having said that, it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for Drew McIntyre following his surprising comeback on last night’s episode of Raw.

Another fan speculated that McIntyre will begin attacking anyone who is associated with his former rival, CM Punk. As such, some predicted that the two-time WWE Champion was the one who attacked Jey Uso backstage. Surprisingly, Karrion Kross reacted to the return, giving his stamp of approval to McIntyre.

The speculations continued to pour in with fans claiming that McIntyre would form a tag team with Kevin Owens. All in all, it is safe to say that exciting times are ahead for the WWE Universe, especially with the Raw premiere on Netflix approaching in January.
