Drew McIntyre is doing some of the best work of his career. At this point, he has become one of the company’s biggest stars, despite not having a title around his waist. However, fans might see him in a new role later this year, as a Hollywood actor. WWE legend, Dave Bautista played a huge role in helping him land his first project.
While speaking in an interview with Irish Wrestling and Entertainment, Drew McIntyre revealed how Dave Bautista helped him land a role in a movie. He stated that they wanted someone who was believable in taking on The Animal and who was Scottish. Bautista looked no further and called The Scottish Warrior to play a part in the movie. The Legend portrays the role of a hitman in the movie “The Killer’s Game.”
However, this was not the first time a wrestler was thankful to the former World Heavyweight Champion. Recently, Titus O’Neil shared some pictures from the set, thanking him for a small part in the movie “The Trap House,” in which he played the role of either a police officer or a detective.
Dave called me, asked me if I wanted to be part of it. They needed someone who physically looked like they could take on Dave, that is Scottish and sometimes unintelligent when he talks with a bit of a comedic side and Dave says "I know that guy" he actually exists, he's called Drew.Drew McIntyre via Irish Wrestling & Entertainment
Meanwhile, Drew announced that he would quit the Stamford-based company after CM Punk cost him the opportunity. The Scottish Warrior failed to win the title against Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle PLE. After fooling everyone and completely annihilating The Second City Saint, only time will tell what his next move will be.
Drew McIntyre comes back on social media again with a new profile picture
Despite being a heel, many fans were delighted that Drew McIntyre was back on X after disabling his account. However, he returned with a statement, as he bloodied The Best in the World in Chicago and returned the favor. He showed pride in what he did by changing the profile picture of his handle.
The former world champion took to X and changed his profile picture to Punk’s bloody face with the caption, “New Profile Pic.” On the latest episode of SmackDown, the veteran came out and said that whatever happened to McIntyre, he deserved it all. However, things didn’t turn out great for him, as after an intense confrontation with The Bloodline, The Scottish Warrior beat him and left him on the stage.

Day by day, their rivalry is crossing all limits, and it could very well lead to a grudge match between the two at SummerSlam. A few weeks ago, Punk appeared without an arm brace, indicating that he would be ready to step foot in the squared circle soon. The animosity between the two stars is so intense that neither of them needs a title to make this rivalry interesting.
