McIntyre’s wife, Kaitlyn Frohnapfel, confronted him with a harsh truth—his life was falling apart. She urged him to rethink his lifestyle and priorities before it was too late. Kaitlyn gave him an ultimatum: either make the necessary changes or lose her. McIntyre admitted her words hit him hard, pushing him to finally be honest with himself.

My wife told me, ‘You need to get yourself together. You’re going to crash and burn. No, you’re burning the candle at both ends. You’re jumping from country to country, drinking all the time. It’s all going to come crashing down. And not only that—I’m going to leave your ass.

The couple met at a bar in Tampa, Florida, in 2013. After three years together, they married in 2016. Since then, the 39-year-old has rebuilt both his wrestling career and his personal life, becoming a two-time WWE Champion and a Royal Rumble winner. Currently, McIntyre is feuding with Damian Priest, and the two are expected to face off at WrestleMania.

Drew McIntyre expressed his opinion about Logan Paul’s in-ring abilities

When Logan Paul first joined WWE, many fans were unhappy and felt he didn’t belong in a wrestling ring. However, he quickly proved them wrong with his ability to draw heat and impressive in-ring skills. McIntyre also praised the social media star’s improved wrestling abilities.

In the same interview, the host asked the former WWE Champion about his thoughts on ‘The Maverick.’ McIntyre praised Paul for doing a phenomenal job and called him one of the best performers to transition to WWE from other sports and entertainment industries.

Yeah, he’s done phenomenal. A lot of people have transitioned to WWE from every sport and entertainment area you can imagine. Logan, considering he has done nothing at all basically, from his first match has been incredible.

McIntyre added that while everyone knew the 29-year-old was athletic, he also had a strong sense of identity. He believed the Prime owner was still young and had a long career ahead. It remains unclear if Paul will compete at WrestleMania amid his ongoing rivalry with AJ Styles.

Drew McIntyre showered heaps of praise on WWE legends The Rock and John Cena

Since The Rock‘s return as the Final Boss, WWE’s viewership ratings have skyrocketed. Even after all these years, he remains one of the biggest stars the company has ever had. Another name that belongs on that list is John Cena, whose heel turn at the Elimination Chamber PLE added a fresh twist to his retirement tour. McIntyre had high praise for both of them.

McIntyre shared his honest thoughts on legends like The Rock and Cena still thriving in WWE despite their megastar status. He pointed out that neither of them needed to return, but they did out of their deep love for the sport. The former WWE Champion was especially impressed by their desire to come back and experience the fans’ reaction.

Yeah! specifically The Rock and Cena. I mean, those guys don’t have to do it. They come back because they love it. They are addicted to the crowd reactions, and because it’s in their blood and it’s so cool to see even as successful as they are, they still wanna come back and feed that addication.

After the events at Elimination Chamber, it’s still unclear if the two megastars have joined forces. The 16-time world champion has made two appearances, criticizing fans for not respecting him over the past 25 years. However, he hasn’t mentioned The Rock yet. The upcoming episode of Raw in London could provide some answers.
