WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has been missing from in-ring appearances, since he tested positive for Covid-19. But he still appears on the WWE episodes through self-recorded promos.

McIntyre is all set to defend his WWE title at Royal Rumble against Goldberg. If WWE is paying heed to the social media responses, McIntyre will be retaining his title at the PPV. McIntyre recently teased a future feud.

The WWE Champion recently appeared for an interview with Sportskeeda, where he teased a future feud with former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Mahal is all set to make his WWE return at WWE’s Superstar Spectacle. Even McIntyre acknowledged the fact Mahal is in an incredible shape and fans might see something special between the two wrestlers.

It’s [Superstar Spectacle] like a perfect place for him to return. And I got a good feeling if people will check out the Superstar Spectacle, they’re going to see something very special. I don’t wanna give any spoilers but let’s just say Jinder’s gonna be back, we’ve got a lot of history and you might see something cool if you check out the show.”
