The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match kicked off the Money in the Bank PLE. As expected, the Toronto crowd was white hot for the opener. With six talented wrestlers competing for the briefcase, the bout had a lot of entertaining spots. After a spot-filled encounter, Drew McIntyre claimed the contract to earn a future world title shot.

At the start of the match, LA Knight and Jey Uso faced-off momentarily before McIntyre ambushed both with a ladder. Andrade performed a body drop from the top rope onto Chad Gable, who hung from the ladder. The former United States Champion then delivered a devastating inverted Spanish Fly to Carmelo Hayes. Gable gained momentum with a Chaos Theory on Hayes. However, he was stopped by Knight, who laid him out with a neckbreaker on a ladder.

The Scottish Warrior inflicted more pain on the former leader of The Alpha Academy by powerbombing him through a ladder. Further, Knight and Uso engaged in a YEET-YEAH battle after laying out McIntyre. The Megastar was sent through the ladder with a back drop by Gable. The latter then suffered a vicious bump when he fell from the top and got hit by a Spear.

While it looked as if the former Bloodline member would unhook the briefcase, the Scot appeared from out of nowhere and removed Uso from the equation. The two-time WWE Champion then ascended the ladder and became 2024 Mr. Money in the Bank by retrieving the contract.
