The 13-time NBA All-Star winner, Dwyane Wade is one with an eccentric style and welcoming humour. Wade or more commonly known as ‘The Flash’ took his retirement in 2019. However, he did so after leaving a huge mark in the sporting world. Wade is the all-time leader in countless records of Miami Heat. 

Further, the following he garnered as a world-class athlete hasn’t garnished one bit post his retirement. Rather, it is on a meteoric rise. Most recently, Wade posted a picture of himself sporting a different and chic hairstyle. 

This sent the masses into frenzy as they came up with a myriad of memes to entertain themselves. One of these memes caught the attention of the 6’4” legend. This meme showcases the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams in the midst of a full swing aimed at Wade’s head since it supposedly looks exactly like a tennis ball. The green colour and its style is eerily similar to that of the commonly used tennis balls.

Wade’s Amazement and Serena’s Response

An amused Wade re-posted this picture on Instagram and wrote, “who did this?????”

Moreover, this was taken lightly by both Wade and Williams who jumped in to humour themselves and the entirety of the world. Making a note of Wade’s amazement, Serena commented, “Honestly I thought it was a tennis ball.” 

In addition, the Olympic gold medalist wrote, “I just saw neon green,” along with the picture on her Instagram story.

This hilarious has caused an eruption of laughter amongst those who have come across it. A little down the road, Williams will be back in action at the Australian Open 2021.
