Wade claimed on the show that he completely ignored Anthony and his Nuggets teammates as they were causing havoc on the other side of the court during a shoot-around. The Miami Heat have been one of the most disciplined teams in the NBA over the years despite their poor form in the NBA recently. However, this discipline and mental toughness were instilled in this side by their veteran head coach, Pat Riley and it was later labeled as the “Heat Culture.” Notably, current Heat star Bam Adebayo opened up on the Heat Culture via the Players Tribune.

We got a standard, and we ain’t with none of that bulls***. You played in three games, you gonna condition, and you’re gonna get in shape. You’re gonna do what you need to do, like, we’re not with no complaining, it’s frowned upon in the culture.

On the contrary, the Miami Heat had a stellar 2023 NBA Finals season despite not boasting many top players on their side apart from Adebayo and Jimmy Butler. Despite this, they defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the ECF Finals in 2023, showcasing the definition of the “Heat Culture” as they were 8th seeded in that 2022-23 NBA season.
